Hide and Seek
Never thought this day would come;
Parks full of children, now having none.
You say the air is bad for them,
But then who killed nature, and hoped no revenge?
No men seem happy on the roads.
having those masks, which look like toads.
They all seem jealous and aghast,
I don't know how long this world would last.
I often wonder whether they have seen,
The things about which I used to be very keen.
Do they know how this day dawned?
How friends, play under these green crowns?
Being today is not much fun;
As there remains no place,
No place to fall,
No place to climb,
No place to wander on night,
No place to be what we want to be,
No place to play hide and seek.
