Why?

Here they are back again,

When this gloomy night dies.

These dark thundering clouds they say,

will follow me until my next life.

I ran here and there,

for a shelter and some heat.

Saving my clothes from,

The harsh shivering sleet.

But they still found me,

and ruined the only fur I owned.

Around the corner as they go,

I yelled ‘meow’ in delight and hope.

And the sun peeps in and winks at me,

from behind their shady melancholy cloaks.

They then turn around to take a look,

And rushed towards my cosy nook.

But then you came and held my hand,

Gave me home and clothes I never had.

Now, as we stand outside our terrace,

And see this bright and clear sky.

As you brush my hairs with your hands,

And I only think WHY.

The sun now smiles and waves at me?

And I would never ever die?
